Hiya, I’m Aisla!
Here you will find a collection of my creative writing and rambling reflections in various forms. My bread and butter is poetry, but you will also find here casual reviews, short fiction and some discussions, essays and reflections.
You can either view all my posts from newest to oldest in the ‘All Posts’ tab, or you can find the category that interests you most in the drop down menu.

Welcome!
This site initially started as a reviews blog. I decided to start this on a bit of a whim, really. I finished playing a video-game (see my first review) and gave a description to my gaming crew. This led to a discussion about how they liked what I had written and got me thinking: ‘Heh, maybe I should start a blog and review random shit!’
And here we are…!
I have always been a writer – one way or another – and this site is my latest effort to get my work out into the public domain. This is both for my own enjoyment and for yours (hopefully).
It is worth noting that I am completely independent and have no official ties to any company or business. All the works here are, unless otherwise stated, my own and copyright is held by me. Similarly, opinions expressed here are my own, and any reviews that have been requested will always be credited.
I am also aware that my views are not always the same as everyone else’s…
…AND THAT’S FINE!
However, this is space is resolutely a safe (or ‘woke’) space. There is no tolerance for intolerance, bigotry or discrimination of any form. Disagreeing about the merits of a movie or quality of a poem is a matter of opinion – other people’s rights to exist safely and freely are not!
You need people who have their own views, whose views you respect, whom you can have a productive disagreement with, and work out ideas which you might not have come up with, or who improve on ideas you had.
